Employees need to be led and be managed. Leadership, however, can assume varying styles depending upon the development level of the people being led. The ability of the leader to mold and develop its people so they may graduate into a self-managing unit is a managerial responsibility that must be exercised.

A two-day learner-controlled training workshop designed to provide the participants with the skills and the techniques in managing performances of their people. The role of a leader to correct declining performances either due to technical reasons or behavioral considerations is crucial in upholding employee’ productivity. Formal performance feedback system is introduced using the functions of goal setting, coaching and counseling, performance evaluation and disciplining.
