EJ is an Associate trainer of The Mentor Group. He has extensive professional experience in line with Sales and Marketing for various niche markets which include the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), Group and Corporate accounts and Direct Database and Affinity sector. Key areas of strength include sales, marketing, events planning, management support, training, training needs analysis and design, business development and implementation, strategic management, organizational design and structuring, monitoring, control and human resource development.

EJ has also conducted high-powered team building trainings designed to build high-performing teams. He also conducts Presentation Skills trainings suitable for sales and marketing employees tasked to present in front of individual or multiple clients. EJ is presently a professor (Adjunct Faculty) at the Enderun Colleges where he teaches the theories of Management and Marketing as part of the curriculum of the college’s students.

Presently, EJ is a managing partner of a firm that specializes in entrepreneurial solutions which include sales and marketing, sales training and events management. As a trainer, EJ delivers high-powered globally accredited Professional Development trainings to clients, like Accenture, IBM, Aboitiz, etc. Among the trainings that he conducts are: Leaders Window, Five Choices, First Things First, Building Teams, Conflict Management, Change Management, etc.

He was the Head – Brand Management, Promotions and Events Marketing of The Philippine American Life and General Insurance Company until his promotion as Head of Sales – Direct Marketing Department in 2005. Throughout his sales career, EJ was involved in Strategic planning and analysis of Philamlife’s below-the-line promotions and events marketing campaigns in congruence with corporate year-to-year plans, effective implementation of non-traditional campaigns in support of approved strategic plans making sure that coordinated activities achieve maximum impact on premium production.

Early on in his career, EJ was a Human Resources Associate (Recruitment and Employee Relations), a Sales Business Unit Planner / Customer Relations Officer, a Sales and Marketing Officer – Group Credit Life Insurance.

EJ’s outstanding educational credentials include a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business where he was a Silver Medalist. He graduated with honors from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
